User Guide

  1. Enter Substrate Concentration ([S]): Input the substrate concentration in millimolar (mM). For example, enter 5 if the concentration is 5 mM.
  2. Enter Enzyme Concentration ([E]): Provide the enzyme concentration in micromolar (µM). For example, enter 2 if the concentration is 2 µM.
  3. Enter Reaction Time: Specify the reaction time in minutes. For example, enter 10 for a 10-minute reaction.
  4. Enter Change in Product Concentration: Input the change in product concentration in micromolar (µM). For example, enter 20 if the change is 20 µM.

Example 1

Calculate Enzyme Activity:

Enzyme Activity=3015×5=3075=0.40µM/min/µM enzym

Example 2

  • Substrate Concentration ([S]): 8 mM
  • Enzyme Concentration ([E]): 3 µM
  • Reaction Time: 20 minutes
  • Change in Product Concentration: 24 µM

Calculation:

Calculate Enzyme Activity:
Enzyme Activity=2420×3=2460=0.40µM/min/µM enzyme
